Our First Nations Cadetship program provides practical, paid industry experience that develops essential workplace skills, giving you a head start in your career while receiving support from our First Nations mentors!

The Cadetship Program assists First Nation Australians in ensuring their success in completing studies and gaining practical work experience that develops essential workplace skills in their chosen field.
AFL 欧美AV’s Cadetship Program is a Commonwealth-funded initiative aimed at providing support to Indigenous Australians studying at a university full-time.
The Cadetship Program offers students paid employment in a role related to their field of study for 10 weeks per year, for up to three years. This allows students to gain professional employment experience alongside their studies and provides employers with knowledgeable and eager individuals passionate about their industry, building the next generation of Indigenous professionals.
Eligible students will receive a Study Allowance of up to $12,000 per year (GST exclusive) and a Book and Equipment Allowance of up to $1,000 (GST exclusive) per year.
First Nation Australians can face many challenges at the beginning and throughout their career journey. To help mitigate any difficulties, we provide all our First Nation Cadets with聽AN EXCLUSIVE FIRST NATIONS MENTOR that provides personal, cultural and career pathway support.
